“us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites,
apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) available under the
impresswriter.ai domain.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information, such as your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Content you submit to the Service (for example: prompts, text, files, or other materials) and the outputs generated in response.
- Support communications, such as when you email us or otherwise contact us.
- Payment information is processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We generally receive limited billing details (for example, payment status and transaction identifiers) rather than full card numbers.
1.2 Information we collect when you use the Service
- Usage and device data, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Analytics information, such as events about how you use the Service (for example: page views, feature usage, and interactions) and aggregated reporting.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the Service and remember preferences.
1.3 Information from third parties
If you connect third-party services to the Service (for example, integrations), we may receive information from those services as authorized by you and as needed to provide the integration.
Google Drive
If you use Google Drive to import files, we collect and store the content of the files you explicitly select to import, so the Service can use it as context. Authentication is handled in your browser with short-lived access token and we do not store your Google account credentials.
1.4 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask you to provide, and we do not intentionally collect, sensitive or special category personal information, such as genetic data, biometric data for the purposes of uniquely identifying a natural person, health information, or religious information. Please do not submit this information through the Service.
Additionally, we do not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our Service or content to children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (e.g., 18 years old in the United States) or under 18 years old, whichever is higher. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a user is under the applicable age threshold, we will investigate and, if appropriate, delete the personal data and/or the account.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Provide integrations you enable (for example, Google Drive) including to import files you select and publish content at your request.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Respond to requests and provide customer support.
- Monitor, prevent, and detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Analyze and improve the Service, including through analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI Content and Model Training
The Service allows you to submit content (“Inputs”) and receive generated responses (“Outputs”). Inputs and Outputs are collectively “Content”.
No training. ByteJar will not use Content to train, or allow any third party to train, any AI models, unless you have explicitly agreed to the use of Content for training.
We may process Content to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, enforce our policies, and keep the Service safe.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, customer support, and security).
- Third-party services you connect (for example, Google Drive). When you use an integration, we exchange information with that provider to perform the actions you request (such as downloading a file you select or creating a file in your Drive).
- Payment processors (for example, Stripe) to process payments.
- Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets (subject to this policy).
We do not sell or rent your personal information (including personally identifiable information).
5. Cookies and Your Choices
- Cookies. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Service may not function properly.
- Analytics choices. Your browser settings and certain third-party tools may provide options to limit analytics cookies and similar technologies.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain certain information in backups or logs for limited periods.
Google Drive. We do not store Google credentials. Files you import from Google Drive are treated as Content you submit to the Service and are retained until you delete them.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
